Yarning Short Stories @ Oxley Men’s shed

I was privileged recently to spend time discussing short stories with talented writers from the St John’s Oxley Community Men’s shed. Meeting fortnightly, the men share stories, ideas and writing tips, and publish an anthology of stories, including sketches that not only elucidate the stories included, but also capture the group and its members in significant moments.
Memoirs, comments, descriptive anecdotes, poems are grist for the mill. The participants have led colourful and meaningful lives offering wonderful topics for anthology readers and often therapeutic relief for the writers. Thank you author and historian, Dr. Darryl Dymock, for the opportunity.
