So thankful for Rotarian Patrick Sherry’s introduction to the Carindale Rotary Club and for Rotarian Kelvin Cotter’s logistical support and Rotarian Karen Sheil’s photographs. I spoke about my interest in history and how it felt like my subjects had put the words into my mouth.
It was Rotary who provided me with a twelve month international fellowship to study in Toronto, Canada, and gave me new eyes through which to view my own country and culture. In a society where volunteering is shrinking, Rotary is still doing a splendid job.
