I was pleased to catch-up with amazing poet and novelist Sarah Todman at Jo skinner’s, Saturday May 10, Avid Reader launch of her second novel, “A World of Silence”. Jo’s book is about female friendships and coercive control, and the devastating impact of not speaking about it. I read the ARC of her first novel and have no doubt the rave reviews of her second are well deserved. Having completed sixty-one marathons the audience seemed interested in how she managed her busy schedule. A highlight was her reading of the opening page, which was captivating and made me want to read further.
