Friends snapped a photo of both my novels, secure in the Old Melbourne Gaol. A big shout out to the staff there who have supported my writing by promoting the novels.
If you haven’t visited the Gaol, make a point of visiting it next time you’re in Melbourne. It has a wonderful Ned Kelly display.
Late one afternoon, I stumbled in there by accident, on the anniversary of Ned’s hanging, never thinking I would ever write a book about the gang. It was a sombre day for visiting family members, one of whom was still there as I toured.
